Many Ukrainians fleeing the war did not count with staying in Germany for a long time. However, the reality suggests that the war is not going away quickly and they need to integrate in the German society. Many Ukrainian kids struggle at their German schools because of the language barrier and the schools cannot cover the huge demand for German courses because there are simply not enough teachers.
Save Ukraine e.V. in cooperation with LAMSA e.V. decided to help and organize additional German courses for Ukrainian refugee kids. Volunteers help the kids of different age with German grammar, speaking, and writing. Moreover, young Ukrainians get help with the homework and are taught about German school system.
